Who we are
Smartech Labs is a trading name of Smartech SRLS, an Italian company (P.IVA 02089050666) based in L'Aquila, Italy, run by Luca Fadda. For any privacy matter you can reach us at luca@smartech-labs.io.
What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, company (optional), your message, and your preferred reply channel (email, WhatsApp, or Telegram handle if you choose those). We do not use invasive advertising trackers. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to understand traffic, without profiling individuals.
Why we use it & legal basis
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, scope potential work, and communicate about a possible engagement. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in replying to and managing pre-contractual requests (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).
How it is handled and shared
Form submissions are delivered to the founder as a notification (via Telegram) and processed to reply to you. We do not sell your data. Limited processors help us operate: our hosting provider (Vercel) and the messaging service used for notifications. These process data on our behalf under their respective terms.
Retention
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting engagement, and for the period required by applicable Italian tax and accounting law where an engagement follows. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email luca@smartech-labs.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
